Anyway lads, 4 days and change left, still lots of transfers to be done in the League.

I know some people dont like it, but honestly I think the window closing before the season starts is a great idea myself.

Im quite happy with what we have done so far and im hoping we add a CB by Tuesday so we can enjoy the last 2 days without our arses flapping, by no means is a CB all we need, but its gotta be the min at least.

I know we are probably in need of 2 CBs, but we just gotta hope that Holgate can shake off his injury worries and nail down a place next to our new CB or hope that Keane benefits from Silvas coaching, *insert laughing gif*.

Hoping for a StoneCold Stunner from Big Marcel, but Fellaini was probably the last out of the blue signing we have made for a while, im probably forgetting somebody but hes the 1 that sticks in my mind the most. Lukaku was pretty much a BOOM wasnt it? Anyway, im rambling!!!!

And thats it really from the things I personally consider ongoing.

Chelsea currently have midfielders falling out their cupboards, I count 10 in their squad list, so wouldnt be shocked to us have a little sniff at RLC or maybe the Drinkwater fella, but havent really seen many decent links to either if im honest.

There will of course be a few outs, maybe a few loans for some of our yoots, but after we get in a CB, I would imagine we will use the loan market for anything else personally.

Mina and RLC on loan would be an ideal last week.

Personally I think so. Can play on the left side. He's a captain and a leader. On the verge of the England squad despite playing in a truly mediocre club side, and is one of the best in the EPL.

I would rather Shawcross than some thug of a Columbian who cant get a game for Barca, who is waiting for Utd to come in for him, and when Jose comes to his senses and decides he doesn't fancy him, the Columbian then picks us because we will pay him more than some second rate French club. Personally, i want us to sign players who want to play for Everton, not players who want to sign for Everton if Man.Utd decide they don't want them.

The names being bandied around on here are farcical, take a look at what we as a club can offer these players, no European football, virtually no hope of qualifying for the Champions league, 4 managers in 12 months, it doesn't exactly paint a picture of a well run, solid Premier League team does it?

12 months ago we had a disastrous Europa League campaign, a disastrous performance in both domestic cups and limped to an 8th place finish with a manager who was thrashed at every opportunity.

We are in yet another transition period, our 5th in 6 years since Moyes left.

We all have to be realistic. We are not ( yet ) a club who can offer realistically European football on a regular basis, we are not a club who can realistically offer the prospect of winning silverware on a regular basis.

To get to that standard we need solid dependable signings who can improve on what we have. Richarlson and Digne are the first steps on a long road back to where we were in the first season after Moyes left.

60M is a lot. But if I ask the question another way, if Keane was 25M, is Lascelles at 60m overpriced?
