Would still like to see a playmaker alongside the signing of del. Most people seem to think hes not quite the finished article. Maybe a cabaye type player might strengthen us even more in the 10 roll.

Nzonzi is a very good CDM, imo.

If McCarthy left we wouldn't need to replace him. Barkley would just move back and we would have Barkley, Cleverly, Barry, Besic and Gibson with Ledson a year closer.

The money could be better used elseware. Not that I want McCarthy sold.

Yeah, definitely if we get a good creative player in. If Martinez gets it right with this playmaker signing and we get Lukaku firing we might just mount a serious challenge on the top 4.

Actually I'm being serious. If we play Deulofeu on the left and modify his game slightly he certainly has the vision and ability.

to be honest in my Everton career mode on Fifa he is aged 25 with a 79 rating, not to bad.
