I've been hearing that around these parts as well. I'm just wondering if a loan is even a realistic idea. Maybe pay an inflated loan fee and then get him free next year. It seems daft as we'd be the only ones benefitting. I'll shut up now.

I don't think it's a matter of how much have we got left to spend but more that we wouldn't pay £15m+ for a player who's almost 29 and would have little resale value.

Also I would not consider Cleverley 'pretty boss'
