...Thursday mornings rumour mill;

- ClubCall website say Spurs interest in Ross Barkley has cooled. Pochettino has had a change of heart and will use the money to strengthen other areas of his squad. The decision leaves Barkley in limbo.

- Manchester United are closing in on Lukaku. The Daily Mirror report that Chelsea were close to a deal but Everton are determined to keep hold of the player meaning Chelsea might have to pay more than £90m. United are in close contact with Lukaku's agent Mino Raiola.

- The Liverpool Echo reports Everton are considering a £15m move for West Ham midfielder Pedro Obiang.

- Betfred, Paddy Power and Betfair make Everton favourite to sign Celtic striker Moussa Dembele.

- 4th Official again link Everton with AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca.

- Gazetto de la Sport say Everton's bid of nearly £16m for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has been rejected.

- The Liverpool Echo report Everton are still open to offers for Niasse despite a successful loan spell at Hull.

You went too early today mate, Echo just announced sandro has signed and will be announced today ;)

If he stays he'd be MAD to not sign a new deal. If we are really offering 150 a week, he'd be leaving like 3M pounds on the table. If he kills it again this year, superb, he could vault us into the CL, which is worth a hell of a lot more than the difference between summer offers of 80M and the 40-50M we'd get next summer. With FFP, salaries do matter, that's 3M we could pay someone else...

...we are absolutely in the drivers seat. If we sell for even 90M, the net revenue would be INSANE, and we could literally transform the roster in one window.

If he stays, great, that's one position we don't have to worry about going forward into the year.

Lost me at roster.

I hope that as this deal was - seemingly - being wrapped up, we've put all our efforts into getting Keane over the line now. Proper weird all this June business. Maybe we'll have a really quiet August at this rate.

Hopefully by August we have done all the deals we wanted to - both out and in and it'll be a case of waiting to see if something really special becomes available that we didn't expect

That's the position the big boys are usually in at that time. Obviously I love transfer talk but rather hit the EL qualifiers with an complete/almost complete squad. Then deadline day swoop for Inzaghi.

Keane needs to be the priority now I agree. On holidays I heard but knows of the interest. Should know we mean business as a club after the past 7 days

Well Niang has gone cold so after Sandro is announced - hopefully today - I'd like to think we have a next genuine target all over the papers. Keane or Sigurdsson probably but hopefully the former.
