Probably not good enough to get in a team with Alli and Erikson - a team who finished 2nd. Everton's? Would be great competition for what we currently have.

He's good but 35 mil good, I'm not so sure.

Would be interested to see how many of his assists are from open play, that's what we're missing most is someone who can play a through ball and link up play

He would, but apparently he rates Juve and Roma. Spurs also said to be interested... all that hurts our cause. However, with Juve after Costa, it could be that Roma go for him which might free up that Berardi fella...

Theirs more good wide forwards/wingers in Italy looking to move to Juve and Roma than there are places available though,Douglas Costa, Bernardeschi, Berardi, Balde - all supposedly want to move and want to move Juve or Roma, there's gonna be a couple at least disappointed

That is my biggest concern with Sigurdsson; Ross wasn't necessarily the greatest passer either. Maybe we just need more movement in the side, but I'd like to get a real playmaker in before the window ends.

Good article here. Summary: neither are great but Sigurdsson is really poor at most things in open play.

However he works hard and hits a good set piece.

As a swap I agree fully. Siggurdson isn't better than Ross.

But siggurdson seems to bring in similar stats as Ross and is a much better set piece taker allegedly so overall we have improved considering we are crap at set pieces.

I wouldn't want us to do it at 40 million though, get better players for less
