Not just the forward line. The midfield and defence aren't much better.

But pace isn't everything.

If Sigurdsson does sign then we are probably down to a centreforward at that stage.
I would like Benteke, but I doubt it will happen.

I have seen mention of a lack of pace in the side but we do have Lennon back and Lookman will play a bigger part this season , Sandro seems pacey and Bolasie will be back before Christmas hopefully.

The paper grumblings seem to think we are involved but potentially too late, though that was as of yesterday.

I have never even seen him play but that is the sort of player who would fill out the squad very nicely. And for a good price.
