Summer Transfer Window 2017

My one worry with signing foreign CB's is the potential language barrier. I'd like Pickford, Keane and X to be able to communicate properly from the start.

I think this may be a reason to bring in someone and play them both LB and CB rotation to begin with.

Personally very intrigued that we didn't go for Riedewald and hopefully not Martins-Indi as these would be good squad signings for a 7th team in the premier league. I'd like to hope we can do better. Both opposite types of player as well so hopefully both off to @Alan Whittle 's Palace where I think they will do well together.

I'm struggling to think of any centre backs like Sarr, Riedewald and Kimpembe who can play both positions and are around 21...how about you?

Playing both positions is handy but really think we should not skimp out and just buy one for each. Only CB/LB I've mentioned previously is that Boscagli. But I'd much rather go for Tierney and a proper CB if we have the funds.

Spurs don't want to pay the money for Barkley. We don't want to pay the money for Sigurdsson. Has sanity returned (albeit just a little) to the transfer window?
Spurs won't pay money for anybody.
Ffs Levy hasn't recovered from spending 30 m on a deadline day benchwarmer and Jansen
Poch making noises about how he is happy with the squad.
Stadium has to be paid for as well.

If Kane gets an injury Spurs will struggle.
Plus playing at Wembley will affect them negatively imo
Davek would have a field day on their net spend threads

As would I.

Boscagli is a bit short for a CB though under 6ft I read, these French lads coming through all look good but all seem to have one weakness each.

For the cost, could buy him, Sarr and Diop for the same fee as a good centre back.

Safer option and immediate payback would be a Tierney/Chilwell and a big name CB as well of course.

I do like the idea of 3 for the price of one though lol

Depends how much we have/want to spend. Won't get Diop for less than £30m or so. Boscagli is kinda short but just meant I've seen him both positions playing well. Tons and tons of good CB's out there I rate higher than Williams. Mawson is the one I've got my eye on one day.

Spurs are gonna be like arsenal where when paying for the Emirates for a good few years now.

It's part of the reason they've built a young squad hoping It will naturally improve as they won't be strengthening through spending now.

Also expect one big sake or more per summer, one to pay the bills on the stadium the other to fund any transfers.

We will finish above them next season - Wembley will cost them 15+ points.

I thought it was Gibson you preferred over Mawson?

Surely Toulouse wont get anything near 30mil for Issa Diop?
I'd also thought his passing wasn't the best but here they agree with me but also claim hes a ball player http://outsideoftheboot.com/2017/03/26/scout-report-issa-diop-toulouses-imposing-centre-back/

I like the boy but 30mil seems a lot for Toulouse.

They didn't struggle when Kane was injured last year.
