Ive always liked that United side with Giggs, Sharpe, Kanchelshis etc on the wings....absolutely lethal.

Giggs, rapid and providing crosses....Kanchelskis lightening fast and charging at goal...

The game hasn't changed so much that those types of players aren't lethal.

I hope we see Lookman as our Giggs and Dowell as our Beckham in a couple of seasons...or players of that type added with similar ckils.

For the Iheanacho signing, I would like a rapid forward like him, a target man like DCL could be and a mercurial genius like Cantona.

I think Sandro could end up being our Cantona bizarrely

He's been quoted as wanting to leave Arsenal because he wants more starts. If he's unhappy as a backup there, why would he want to be a backup here?

Back then when Giggs got the ball for united their fans all stood up....something was going to happen and they couldn't miss it.

Same with us when we got Kanchelskis....he could get the ball on the halfway line and we all stood up,,,,

The only player we have of that ilk is Lookman...

Someone that an opposition fan would pay to watch...that was Kanchelskis all day long.

Well I'd say we have had one of them in Barkley for that last few years - but he hasn't delivered consistently enough. Same with Geri, same with Rom.

They don't necessarily bring success.

nonsense about his all round play, I'm personally offended on his behalf. Plus his open-play goals per game return is outrageous even for a City striker.

I'd still be very happy with Giroud, I'll be interested to see your opinion on how ol' Kelechi has done at Leicester by the end of the season though

Gueye's awesome at what he does mate but I stand by that playing him and Schneiderlin in games we'll dominate is redundant. And Schneiderlin and even Barry are both much better than him on the ball.

True but Gueye was one of the only ones looking to drive forward last week with the ball.
