They have obviously been lurking on here then.

Football journo's! one of the easiest and biggest blag jobs ever.
A combination of using fan forums and football manager and the job is a good 'un.
Surprised they've not tried to link us with Luuk de Jong as an 'in case Giroud doesn't come off', same as they did with Bas Dost.

Klaassen? He was heavily linked with moves to Italy and other European clubs.

Pickford had the top six looking at him as well, and other Prem clubs.

Keane was supposedly on the verge of rejoining United or Liverpool (in fact, didn't plenty of articles from reliable journos say he turned down Utd in favour of first team football?).

Sandro was highly touted and Atletico Madrid were seriously interested.

Henri was a target of several European and PL clubs.

The only real player that 'had no other option' that we have brought in is Rooney...

So that first point, my apologies for being blunt, is nonsense.

The playmaker thing is in the process of getting sorted. The ball is in Swansea's court as much as it is ours.

The Giroud thing I'm sure will come to a head sooner rather than later but if we're wanting our no.1 target I don't care if we have to wait another two weeks to get him. He's a player, like Gylfi, good enough to slot right into any side without needing too much bedding in time.
Think there were quotes directly from Henry that had had a contract literally in front of him from PSG but didn't sign it as well.

Hmmm.

Not sure on that matey. I think Rom will do well.

Rom will bag plenty this season. In fact I can see him being the top-scorer.

I don't think that'll be enough to win United the league, though.

He'll score goals. But will he be able to drag United through the big games. I suppose that's the question.

Rom tends to fill his boots on more open teams mate, he will face much less of those playing for untied when teams will set up more defensively.

I agree. Less than 20 for Rom this season. He'll cave under the pressure just as he did at Chelsea, in big games for us & tournament football for Belgium.

He's that striker in your 5-a-side league that smashes 30 past one crap team and doesn't show up against the others.
