Summer Transfer Window 2017

Not impressed me has had little end product this season and struggled, he'd be a good signing for that price however

Hmm, was really good the previous seasons. Likes of him and Goretzka I really rate, and obviously Kolasinac and their keeper, Fahrmann. I actually like Nastasic and have done from his City days...

Yeah their not having the best of seasons but Leno as been around a bit now and proving himself. Real Madrid wanted him after being shunned for De Gea the other year but couldn't get a deal done.

I'm not sure if it's this summer or the summer after, he has a release clause that kicks in for around £19-20m?! There was him and 2 others, one being Brandt and his release clause kicks in this summer for definite, £20m!

Ive been on about leno for donkeys.....not sure if we would have the appetite for an overseas keeper

Unfortunately if him/Rooney/Hart are the level our fans want us to aim for in the summer then we will only finish around 7th. (For what it is worth i don't think any of those players will end up here in the summer)

You seem to be over looking that the likes of Sigurdsson & Rooney are players Koeman likes and wants, not just us fans!...

And Sigurdsson is top 5 and beyond quality, definitely. For past couple of seasons he's been Swansea's talisman and done the business vs the teams in the top 4-5 aswell as the rest of the league. He's always generally shown up against the best in the league for Swansea and made and scored goals.

..I have to say that none of the domestic keepers we've been linked with appear much of an improvement on Robles (Pickford, Heston, Schmeichal, Hart, Forster, Marshall etc). Hoping there's somebody on the continent that we've identified, otherwise I'd be sticking with what we have.

I'm not goalie expert but the likes of Heaton and Pickford look shotstoppers to, playing for teams often under the cosh and flattered by being busy. They lack the size and bulk to command their areas, especially aerial attack. I see the need for a replacement but I wouldn't swap Robles for either of them. Butland is one that I haven't seen enough of to form an opinion.
Very sensible post

Feel like we need to be prepared to lose out to the higher teams who will sweep in and buy players out from under us just to have them on their bench. I'm cautiously optimistic when it comes to names like Kolasinac. Would love to have him but obviously we need good fallback players so we don't go buying basically retired players at the last minute.

Sigurdsson is obviously our biggest target this window and I would be absolutely made up if we get him and ecstatic if we get him and keep Ross. 4-2-2-1 with Ross and Sigurdsson up front, feeding the ball into (Rom or with whomever we replace him) Deadly

he's not looked too great since clement has come in and played him wide left. He's still dangerous from set plays and wide areas of course, but i would hope that if we buy siggurdson, he can play in the hole in the centre, because that's where he is a very dangerous. I'd say he's worth around £25m rather than £30m, but hey, if i compare him to the prices liverpool have paid, he's worth about £50m so who even knows what the correct value is anymore. End of the day, he's the top assister in the league playing for a team in the bottom 3 with no good attackers. That's ahead of some of the best assisters in europe like mesut ozil.

We could be lining up next season with the highest scorer and highest assister in the league in our starting XI from the previous season.

In general he's been really good for them this season and at the start of Clements reign he started well but they have gone right off the boil. Last couple of seasons have shown to me that Sigurdsson is a quality player dos even though Swansea have been turd he's been quite consistently good and also done it vs the top teams in our league and top players show up against the best, which Tbf to him, he has!

Some proper naughty stuff going on there.

That FK at Stamford bridge to set up Llorente's goal is pure filth! And look how he wants to get in the box and score goals, make things happen. We haven't got a CM like that, not even Barkley. Davies as tried of late but he hasn't got the creative or goal scoring ability of a Sigurdsson. He would improve us big time!
