Haha, Hoedt would be back up for 2 games and then first choice with Keane.

Future playmaker?!?!? Sig is good but he is a dead ball specialist who will cost 50m!!! We have Rooney, Klaassen and Davies who can fill a void and in the mean time develop someone like Dowell who could be a future playmaker. Money could be spent on signing what we need most and filling important holes; CB and a striker.

What is worse is Sig would probably need to play on the left to accommodate all our other gun CMs, meaning we would be stuck with the very opposite of a playmaker but the same flop he was at Spurs.

Obviously we disagree with the needs of the club and how good the Mighty Thor is, but I cannot imagine Koeman playing Hoedt over Williams. Hoedt looks skilled to me and he has size, but I don't see him being aggressive. What makes you think he's a good pairing for Keane?
