Player Valuation: £5m
Wish it was Dzeko. Can you imagine him and Siggi. If not I'd take Slimani.

I'm coming around to the idea of Slimani.
He was a very good player before he went to Leicester and it just seemed to go very wrong for him there for no real reason - which happens.
A willing runner and physical, which is what Koeman likes in a forward.
I am still hoping beyond hope that Walsh's trip to Italy was something to do with Dzeko or Mandzukic, but time is fast running out. I just hope we don't end up with Costa or Welbeck because neither are fit to wear the royal blue.
We've done brilliant business this summer, the only thing which disappoints me is we've left the hardest signing till last. Nobody is going to sell us their star striker now for anything short of silly money, and I don't think we'll be prepared to pay it.
Really struggle to see who we'll get in, and genuinely think it'll be Slimani or Welbeck now. Neither of which is a disaster by the way, the former particularly would do well here I think. But it's a tad underwhelming.
Aye need that striker in, was massively hoping we'd get Giroud but it seems he has settled for being a sub at Arsenal - which kind of makes me not as fussed on missing him - if that's the limit of his ambition now.
Costa would be the absolute dream - but can't see any scenario where it'd be doable.
Dolberg, Dembele and the likes - all great prospects - but for that focal point and for right now we need someone proven in there
Hard job to get this one sorted, but if we don't then criticism can rightly be placed at the door for not sorting it prior to selling.
12 days left to see i guess ;/
I'd go bananas for Dzeko by the way, but that's pie in the sky.
Reckon you could get benteke or vardy... just have to pay a lot for them. Vardy must want to play for a big team before he retires so I think he would force a move... benteke would also force a move IMO if we offered enough
His stats weren't bad last season either. 8 goals and 5 assists in 1550 mins isn't a bad ratio. I think he'd be a better option than most. Still think Dost would be better though.Works hard, decent at holding the ball up, tall, strong, can actually make runs in behind and isn't a total slouch, and most importantly he's very good with his head. If Gylfi is the gun we need someone to provide the bullets. We could do a lot worse.
Not to keen on Costa mate, in fact i think it would be a massively rubbish decision even if it got done.
I agree on Dolberg and Dembele, i dont think they are even that kind of player we need, who will occupy two centre backs, push the defnsive line back, be there for first time ball, and to make space for the three in behind and runners. Its all very well identifying a Dolberg etc, but hes an addition to the system we play he could never be a focal point in my opinion, hes not a fit for how we will play.
I would be inclined to go for tried and trusted and the type is cast for the system, at this stage id go for Dzeko or Benteke if the Kalinic to Milan stroy is real.
Dzeko, Giroud, benteke and for a differing reason Vardy would all occupy the way we need a striker to do, all look unobtainable for various reasons though, and 2 would have major question marks - Benteke for his cba attitude half the time, and vardy for being an utter scrote of a human being.
Joyce effectively ruled all 4 out of being doable deals though recently, so have kind of moved on from thinking about those 4 mate.
As for Costa - the links are entirely based on Koeman effectively laughing whilst answering the question - as think it was regarded by him as a insanely silly question
But if you got him on a permanent deal - then he is 100% the best type of the centre forward in the world at what we are actually looking for. He can be an utter bell and is horrible to play against etc, but if he's one of yours then he's the type you end up absolutely adoring - Ferguson springs to mind, a 4 month loan for him - nah get in the bin, you'd get a bloke who'd basically be putting in a pre season effort to get fit for Madrid in January and would be a utter pointless distraction
He also isn't troy deeney
Banoffee pie in the sky?I'd go bananas for Dzeko by the way, but that's pie in the sky.
