Watford would probably want 60 mil minimum from us for Doucoure - they bought him for less than 10 million a couple years ago. I'd rather see us do what Watford does and actually use our scouting system. Admittedly I'm happy we took the gamble with spending so much on Richarlison but I want to see Brands and his network unearthing some gems for ourselves.

Who's to say Brands hasnt been scouting Doucoure for years.
He scouted Richarlison before he went to Watford.
Its not inconceivable.

I was about to moan at you then for being negative about injuries that a player cannot help, checked his history first, in 7 senior seasons he has averaged 15 FIFTEEN games a season!
Perhaps he actually an Darren Anderton type?!?!

Well it’s not is it.

Bring in a renowned Director of Football to help re-energise our transfer markets, repair the damage of previous over-spending, scout the stars before they’re stars and then shell out £50m+ on a midfielder the manager had a year ago so thinks is a pretty good guy.
