Zaha is the right age (26 I think?) and Brands did say they’d pay big fees but not mammoth wages.

I Wonder was this money that was earmarked for Pepe (who we supposedly had interest in) and now that he’s going to Arsenal we’re moving down our list of targets? Still suspect we’ll see Neres or Malcom.
This.

I’m hoping anyway.

Neres/Malcom in
Kean
DM
CB

Although I’m team brands, the frustration with not having time for new players to train with squad is growing.

This transition is going to to take more than a couple of windows.

It is frustrating but the market does seem to be a bit slow this year apart from one or two teams doing brisk business. It doesn’t help that some of our supposed targets have been at the ACON or Copa America.

If that Zaha bid is true, I hope we've got the sense to rapidly move on from it now and not get fleeced over it.

It's not the same though as it was with Bolasie. If we get fleeced we at least get someone decent. With Bolasie we were signing a lower league level player with the poorest awareness on the field I've ever seen.

I want the right players in. Fees not that important if we do.
