If you genuinely reckon he’s made up a club statement, you need to go to bed mate, clearly you’re over-tiredi know what that stands for... the statement is clearly not true

We gain that the squad doesn't feel like we are going around offering players to clubs on the sly without saying anything to the players first. If we made that bid and it got rejected without saying anything to Tosun or McCarthy, that move could upset the other players who now don't trust management to be upfront about their plans.I dont get what Everton have to gain by denying it.
Part of me takes it with a pinch of salt as we know the club dont ever comment on transfers officially.
Part of me thinks hes been fed a line by someone at the club and turned it into a statement.
Like I say, I dont get what we gain unless they are concerned after the Silva affair.
I can't really tell what your angle is here. EFC statement is the same as EFC club statement is the same as "per club officials", etc.EFC statement as opposed to EFC club statement covers his arse there

If a reporter uses the word statement, he is saying that it is the club's public and official stance. I'd be shocked if that is not the case here. I have no idea if the statement itself is true, but I believe it really came from the club.
You're lost.
Yes and no. Depends on his source.
I'm guessing it's come from Contract Dave - interested of course, but dropped the matter out of respect/relationship.
It devalues Tosun and McCarthy.
Other buying clubs would be like "You wanted to give them away to Palace"

Not really such a low ball ,Arsenal offered 40 million so for me 55 was a fair offerThe most worrying aspect of this is that we are clearly struggling for a transfer strategy. A random lowball offer for Zaha, which was never going to be accepted.
Seems like a mess.
Everton denied Sissoko.
They won't want any bid involving players made that public.
Fair yeah.
Never heard so much conflicting info on one story in one hour or so lol
