10 goals 5 assists and earned 7 penalties last year. That's pretty decent.

And there is another level of consistency that he's never quite hit. Maybe he never does but if he did he'd be top class.

Those figures aren’t consistent either, it’s the only time in his career he has reached double figures . He’s got 45 goals in his entire career and he’s a 26 year old attacker that played as striker for large parts of last year . If he came through our youth system he would be getting games for sure , but, 65m ? No way, must be heaps of better players out there for that price

Dangerously close to being on topic here (can someone just start a separate thread dedicated to Esk?)... but reckon if we can get Zaha in it’ll have more than just an on pitch impact. He’d be another real high profile signing... He’s no Robinho from when City started splashing the cash, but one seriously high profile signing helps lead to more (as long as we don’t then utterly balls it all up on the pitch)
