Another example of how the club have no regard for supporters. Although I wouldn't be at all surprised if he was told not to do the interview. What happened to the interview Thelwell was meant to be doing?

But that is what confuses me...
We thought Keane was good and bought him, Maupay, Gbamin, Gomes, Holgate...
Surely other clubs must think they are good too?
lol we let the coaches and manager decide? Like I am threatening to make the decisions for him. No one said anything about 30 goals did they? Standards have got so low you are wanting a 3 goal a season in League One striker to be getting minutes for us in the PL.
Everyone appeared to want El Bilal to sign based on nothing more than a pretty average YouTube video. Almería picked him up for buttons when he was low risk and have made a good profit so that's one club with a better scouting set up than ours. Looking at the last three windows and our lack of a CF the future looks bleak.…not sure the supporters ’demand a marquee signing’. Evertonians know the situation, they demand an ‘effective signing’ & that’s not much too ask in a global market.
That’s the first believable thing I have read on here for agesMorning
Keane did alright for a while when he first came in. In the England setup etc. I think his mentality has been a problem and he never had much pace so he needed someone athletic beside him. They had shown more at their previous clubs than they have at us. Keane & Maupay worked (to an extent) in the systems they were playing in. Gomes had won a league title at Barca. Gbamin and Holgate were promising talents. They've come to us, had their wages increased and seen their performances deteriorate, so they're harder to shift.
It's also possible that the people running our club are thicker than the people running other clubs ha.

I'm an ITK for the concept of time

Gomes was very decent until he got a horrendous injury. Gbamin never really got started before he got a horrendous injury so hard to know whether he’d have been any good or not. Holgate never quite made it but wasn’t expensive I don’t think. And Maupay, well god knows! I think we overpayed for Keane and Gbamin which makes things worse. And probably Gomes too after that injury.
I think there is definitely something in the setup there, an attitude issue or something in the club that leads to complacency or deteriorating performances.
we are a pointless club
