I forgot about Jackson after his move to Bournemouth fell through but we were definitely linked quite a bit with him too. I see he's got 4 goals in his last three appearances so clearly over any injury worries, I wonder if we'll revisit.
Scored a very well-taken goal in their derby against Valencia the other week

There is a thing in squad building/recruitment known as the 'hotdog analogy' Basically the bun represents your homegrown/domestic players who form the spine of your squad. You then add the meat to it for some substance and to bulk out the rest of the squad with foreign players (Euro based) Now you can leave it like that but most people want a bit of sauce (Mustard, Ketchup) to give it a bit of something to top it off and that represents your rest of the world players like South Americans, Africans, Asians and so on. Maybe you are onto something here mate.

Yep I think that's what I created mate and others just follow.

I'm a pioneer in thinking outside the box whilst standing inside the box that is levitating inside a sphere.

I've just watched a video of Bakayoko at PSV and I'm convinced he is going to be one of the best RW in the world. He's only 19 so we absolutely have to pay up whatever PSV want and get him. Transfermarkt rate him at just 9 million so hopefully we could bag him for around 15 million.

Another ST we could have a look at is Nicolas Jackson at Villareal who was meant to go to Bmouth for £20 million in January but got injured.

Ive mentioned Bakayoko a few times...perfect age and profile.

A few people mentioning Leicester players, how about their left backs Victor Kristiansen and Luke Thomas?

Finding players at ST, RW and possibly CAM I think maybe be a bit more challenging for at below the 20 million mark. But in relation to LB I think there are some interesting options from what i've read and seen bits of for reasonable fees. Names below are really quintessential modern fullbacks I think worth an add to a shortlist. Fees via Transfermarkt and likely subject to reevaluations come summer but all are likely at or below the 20 million mark.

Fabiano Parisi, Italy, Empoli, 22, 10 million
Really good stamina on both ends. Runs tirelessly has a good cross on him. May be out of our level after this season but all in all a great prospect.

Milos Kerkez, Hungary, AZ, 19, 10 million
AC Milan product who has shined in the Eredivisie. Quintessential modern fullback. Extremely quick and attack minded.

Björn Meijer, Netherlands, Brugge, 20, 9 million
Moved to Belgium in the Summer and continued to impress. More defensive minded, extremely disciplined but also growing on the offensive end.

Luka Netz, Germany, Mochengladbach, 19, 6.5 million
On the rawer end and prospect thats been in and out of his side. Still a very engaging player with all the traits of a modern full back. Strengths lean defensive could work on crossing.

£26mil seems like a bargain if true. By bargain, I mean that if he was hitting those numbers for and owned by Lille or Lyon he'd be £40mil+.

The Arsenal player that apparently is available thats most interesting to me is Emile Smith-Rowe:

Garner22 Onana21
Smith-Rowe22

Midfield rebuild in 12months

Also seems mad we went for him in Jan.

Heres the team of the season with 3 players linked to us Scott, Ndiaye, Gyokeres: https://www.efl.com/news/2023/april/efl-team-of-the-season-line-ups-revealed/

Only seen his youtubes but Scott seems ideal to make a long term 3 with Onana and Garner. Also flexible enough to play deep, central and advanced it seems.

If we could bring in a young midfielder like him and also a young top forward...i could even live with Iwobi on the right for another season
Would all cost £20+ million!
Especially Scott!

We just need to bring in 2 players on permanent deals.

I think Arsenal and Chelsea would be open to move a number of players on. They could accept loans with options or activated into permanent deals in 12months.

That would be 4 players which would be ideal.
