Summer transfer window 2023

Linked with players we do not need (cbs and cm), yet very few links with attacking players. Rodrigo from Leeds has a 3 millions release clause, what are we waiting for....unless we can't even afford 3 millions and all the ridiculous links to maguire and mctominay are just noise purposely feed to the media by the board to give the illusion that they are working hard on planning for next season. What are we waiting for? I know deadline day and the usual bs on making many phone calls but unfortunately we are going with what we have as we cannot get better players we already have.
Mate, the transfer window hasn’t even OPENED yet.

I am worried that being able to attract players will be a much bigger concern than money this summer.

Let us be honest. While Dyche did well most of the time as Burnley manager, his players did not. Not many improved. Not many got transferred to a better team. Hardly any players got a higher market value while being there.

Being hard to beat and grinding out results with a collective without improving individual players does not make signing for Everton attractive.

Think of players like Jack Cork and Josh Brownhill. Regulars on the Burnley midfield for years. I watch a lot of Premier League football, but I could not tell you what they are good at. What types of players they are. And it would be concerning if Everton were after them.

But things change. Since Kompany came in, Burnley have been a team that plays good football, has a lot of possession and it is no longer all about long balls. I know it is "only" Championship, but I have to say I am surprised when Brownhill is arguably the best player in the league. That he has seven goals and eight assists. Where the hell did that come from?

There are reasons for players such as Iwobi and Onana looking much better the first half of the season than after Dyche came in. If they push for an exit now, I will totally understand them. They will never shine brightly for Everton as long as Dyche is a manager. They would never have signed for Everton in the first place if Dyche was manager.

I do not mind a McTominay type of signing, but signing for Everton show an alarming lack of ambition from him. His ceiling playing under Dyche is to be a 6 out of 10 midfielder. Tom Davies can be 6 out of 10 midfielder playing for Dyche. When we play as we do, the skills and the name at the back of the shirt do not really matter.

But still doubt the Begovic decision came out of the blue. Coleman has just had knee surgery so who knows how he'll be coming back,so in any sensible club the offer of a new contract would depend on his recovery. Dyche made a strong statement which appears to be just a sound bite.
We are wondering what’s going on. Some think it’s doomsday and we have not a single Penny to spend. Others think we have got money, but the club has no leadership and no one taken responsibility. Others like me are hoping that we are being sensible and making sure we pick the right players due to the position we found ourselves. Either way it’s guess work from all of us. And the only way we will find out who is right is when the window slams shut.

Rodrigo isn’t the one for us either.

Bobble has reiterated the target is 6 incomings this summer. Fullbacks, Strikers and wingers have been targeted as priority.

Imagine CB/MC incoming will depend on sales as well.

Loan and free agent markets are being explored.

Going to be a rough summer.

This ridiculous...should get 2 attackers instead of diluting funds.

Some very decent players available on a free. Problem is actually attracting them. Still think our best bet is going for the better players from lesser leagues. Known quantities will almost certainly have better options.

You cant compare what Dyche did in the Prem with Burnley with what Kompany did in the Champ thats nonsensical. How many teams have looked great in the Champ then come up and been garbage? Silly comparison that mate.
