Like the player, wanted him when he was in the Championship but I just think given that whatever money we have is likely to be stretched for a number of positions then we need to avoid the domestic transfer market imo as there is little value to be had for a club like us.

Another reason we really have to make the most of the loan system. Actually properly look at it like transfers, Rather then just grabbing some kid off the street just to fill a the loan spot...

Frankly Johnson wasn't good enough this season to be worth shelling out a big sum for. 10m to maybe 15m and hope he gets significantly better maybe but Forst would never do that.

Was having a very good season. 12 goals, 5 assist in 22 appearances, and then had a cruciate ligament rupture in January. Expected to be out until sept/oct. Long term effects though, might not be the same player.

Yeah, think there will be a few clubs looking at him this summer. Especially with age on his side and obviously the above...
Think him playing off the striker your see the best of him, rather then him being the main man for most the season.

He scored 8 in 38 mate it's not that impressive. Played as a striker a fair but of that as well.

He's honestly another Gordon or Gray. Maybe a little better.
