If Villa, Brighton and Forest are in for Adams as well as us, why would he pick Goodison? Brighton and Villa are in Europe next season and have two very forward thinking managers. Plus they don't make you sit through a Bill Kenwright production of 'Good times'.

What’s all that got to with your statement of “bringing in established premier league players will help us” when, as stated, that’s what we’ve done
Bringing in the right players in areas of the team where they are needed is what is needed.
Players of a good age, with premiership experience who have performed at a decent level and are affordable is a solid plan.

Blaming the players we signed for the collapse of the club is taking a very narrow view of the problems at Everton in my opinion.

The alternative is signing young inexperienced players which is a huge risk or bring player from abroad which has hardly been a success when you think of Gbamin, Sandro, Tosun to name just three.

So point 1: that’s what we’ve done in the past. All the players we bought were for a specific area. The people who make the decisions deemed them good enough, so what’s changed now.

This PL experience is a load of utter garbage. You over pay for both transfer fee and salary; it’s a dead market for teams like us.

Those players, who almost sent us down, have been bought by the same clowns running the show now. We have a DoF who thought Neal Maupay was an ideal replacement for Dom

It will be, unfortunately.

It’s clear what we need, if it’s not addressed we’ll struggle. I’m no fan of Dyche but he’ll be left to hold the can of horrendous mismanagement and recruitment

And yet again, the clock is ticking and we still have Kenwright clinging on for dear life and as a result, the club is seemingly gripped by inertia.

Anyone find it mad people are advocating getting Harrison and happy for him to contribute 4-5 goals?

Wingers should be looking to get 8+ goals or they aren't very good ( unless they are assisting loads ).

4-5 goals is a poor output from a winger.
I don’t think it’s a poor return if they help in the buildup and contribute a lot defensively and press. 8 goals is hoping a bit much

I’ll make a prediction. Barring scandals, injury epidemics or nuclear warfare I predict Jack Harrison will be good value for 16 mil. He is reaching that prime age and is a two-sided player that is capable of scoring goals and racking up assists. He isn’t the sexy unknown gem from Kazakhstan nor is he the 20 year old prodigy going for 100 mil on the market but he would be a solid signing.
