Let’s be real he isn’t anyone’s first choice (except for maybe his mum), but he does exactly what we need him to do- he makes us a sturdier team and can provide end product plus service. If we sign him and a solid striker, I can see us finishing fairly higher than people would expect.

You need to reach beyond the obvious targets and try to find talent buried in other leagues. I would much rather grab a top scorer in the Dutch league, Japan or in South America and see if it plays in England.
