All that would be left is to replace Iwobi.

Fair enough. But giving some opportunities to Cannon, Mills and Branthwaite....I know there are rumours about selling him but if he is still here...seems a good idea. Better that than bringing in some 30 somethings from the Championship. Nobody is suggesting putting out a team of unproven youngsters

100% this - so tired of seeing crap dross useless players getting further opportunities to show us that they are, as we suspected, absolutely crap - the squad is full of them and it’s why we have ended up the way we are the last few seasons.

We used to be fairly good at developing and breaking youth players into the first team - another skill the club seems to have lost under mosh and kenwright.

I don't think he does have an aversion myself, genuinely just think it's quality. He was playing McNeil for both Burnley and us. I'm sure Trippier was playing regularly under him at a young age, also. Onana starts most games for us.

With that number of young players....and, let's face it, this could be a total pipe dream....then it wouldn't be so bad to bring in somebody a few years older to play on the right. Harrison, for example. Well that's me done playing FIFA Manager for the day...

I think so, if someone can show me that the Burnley academy has been chocked full of young talent who he denied gametime then fair enough.
