And keep OnanaIf we could move on Gray and bring in Gnonto and Ndiaye we'd have the emergence of a new young midfield.
All that would be left is to replace Iwobi.

Gray and Onana out for £50m combined.
Come September, from that £120m received for those two, Gordon and Kean, we'll likely have spent £30m of it and be dead certs for relegation.
And keep Onana
No one can deny he is sooo handsomeSounds a perfect fit for us then.
100% this - so tired of seeing crap dross useless players getting further opportunities to show us that they are, as we suspected, absolutely crap - the squad is full of them and it’s why we have ended up the way we are the last few seasons.Fair enough. But giving some opportunities to Cannon, Mills and Branthwaite....I know there are rumours about selling him but if he is still here...seems a good idea. Better that than bringing in some 30 somethings from the Championship. Nobody is suggesting putting out a team of unproven youngsters
Agree. Not sure where this reputation of him not playing youth has come from.I don't think he does have an aversion myself, genuinely just think it's quality. He was playing McNeil for both Burnley and us. I'm sure Trippier was playing regularly under him at a young age, also. Onana starts most games for us.
With that number of young players....and, let's face it, this could be a total pipe dream....then it wouldn't be so bad to bring in somebody a few years older to play on the right. Harrison, for example. Well that's me done playing FIFA Manager for the day...McNeil (23)
Garner (22)
Onana (21)
Add in Ndiaye (23) and Gnonto (19) if the links are true and we would have 5 u23s to develop but sadly, still no right sided player.
Who knew suggesting a bit of development would cause such a stir? We used to be fairly good at developing and breaking youth players into the first team - another skill the club seems to have lost under mosh and kenwright.

He's a very decent striker. We (Brendan Rodgers) have treated him terribly. Horribly underutilized player for usOur resident Leicester fan @FOXINPEACE definitely doesn’t agree with these two posts.
