Yeah, he’s so backward he managed to get Burnley, yes Burnley into Europe.

You don’t want to give him a chance, despite what he walked into. I’m afraid its as simple as that really.

That same season we went from relegation favourites to getting allerdyce in and finishing 2 pts behind them

He obviously just doesn't agree with you but doesn't have the ability to debate your reasons why. So resorts to saying you want the club to fail.

Seems like the type of person you'll reply to pointing out the wholes in their post and they'll just reply with a post saying "you're" because you put your by accident and act like they've just completely destroyed your argument.
I didn’t say he wanted the club to fail. I said he wanted the manager to fail.

How many managers have we had since Kean signed? All of them apart from Lampard have stuck with him. That includes Carlo, Kean must do something right in training. Or just that Mina was always injured so he was the best next option.

Bit of a worry we don't really have a suitable partner for Tarkowski . Branthwaite obviously, but he is still young for a central defender and still lacks a bit of experience (the dark arts that Mina was good at). Would say Godfrey was our next option but his physical attributes make up for slot missing from his game, in terms of seeing danger early . Think we need another centre half, once we can ship a couple out
I think this is the truth of the matter….rely on the reliable players. It’s a strange trend with us….our players with ability have real fitness and injury issues, whereas our mediocre / less than average players seem to have no fitness or injury concerns at all!

Joyce saying we value Simms at £7-10m and that Coventry and Swansea are interested. We know Blackburn and Sunderland are too.

So I guess it may be a case of who gives something in values for Piroe, Wharton, Gyokeres or Clarke that may see it done.

Sounds like it’s nowhere near done contrary to what we were led to believe then.

By saying he shouldn’t be managing a club like Everton, it really is that simple lol

Yep, it was that bad he kept us up.

I feel it’s probably justified

right on cue to prove me right

One season amongst many terrible ones. Also a season where other teams really underperformed.

Look, you rate him, I get it. I don't and so far he has pretty much done all the things that worried me about him, so I have nothing to suggest otherwise moving forwards. Me personally, I will need to see evidence of development as a manager. From what you have said, it seems you would be happy with more of the same from him. That's your call.

I'm an Evertonian which means I've given the benefit of the doubt to, amongst others, Gordon Lee, Mike Walker and Frank Lampard. Now it's Sean Dyche's turn. Just because I'm loyal it doesn't mean I have to be deluded

Personally I think managers like dyche should be no where near a club like Everton. At best he's a manager that will do nothing but tread water.

I look at villa who finished a few points ahead of us the season before. All the talk was about who'll get sacked first Gerrard or lampard. Villa weren't happy with Gerrard had a talk to top level managers, got a bite sacked Gerrard and got emery in and he had the whole world Cup to work with the squad.

We on the other hand clung to lampard like a drawing man with a broken bit of wood and only got rid of him when we were in the crap and nobody worth their salt would of touched us. Of all the managers in the world the idea that dyche is the best we can get is ludicrous.

What did dyche do? He implemented a defensive system, thats about it. It was better then lampard not having a system but that doesn't prove hes actually good. We conceded 28 goal in 18 games in a defensive system.

I think he'll be gone by January with less then 20 pts on the table.
Bit of a difference in clubs, Emery given a large transfer kitty. Dyche's interview probably went along the lines of being asked if he felt he could keep us in the Prem with next to nothing to spend until at least BM was up and running. At the time who else would have taken the poison chalice?
