Yeah, but you dont need hard and fast rules. Just common courtesy. Like the Japanese like you to take your shoes off when in their house, or something like that, so it would be rude to ignore that tradition if you decided to live there.

I went to Tokyo once mate, and the main thing I learned while there ???

Whenever someone bows to you, you never ever under any circumstances, pat them on the head.

And I would like to think that if I moved to Japan, I would embrace that when locals visited me. Then I would offer them a pint, or some wine, or something British to eat.

My fave christmas meals were at my Aunts place. She is Norwegian, so made all this Norwegian stuff, and had different traditions on pressies and that. Was brilliant. And that was in Hoylake.

I think that is what @EFCNIK is alluding to.

Abso bloody lutely. Stuff like this is ace.

Certain groups have no interest in this though. Only in what we can do for them not the other way round. And we have mugs written on our foreheads because we constantly appease it. One wouldn't want to be accused of racism now.

In fairness he makes a strong case about not wiping out all the jews, if any immigrant comes to this country planning to wipe out all our jews, we may have to consider these integration laws

I deffo think we shouldn't allow mass immigration of Jew exterminators and child rapers , I'd certainly vote against their admission . Damn human rights act , Damn you Brussels

Why does every discussion on the topic always result in someone talking about them? Absolute scare tactics. It's an important issue that needs discussing not shutting down. That's how you push beliefs underground and hey ho, you get groups like the edl forming. You're all a perfect match for each other.
Excuse me, I have more respect for the EDL than I do for a group like UKIP, at least with the EDL what you see is what you get, there's no pretense. And FYI, EDL supporters vote UKIP.

That's it isn't it? A bit of live and let live.

it was the child rape and the ethnic cleansing that got me confused too

I couldn't determine between it being a "culture" or an "ethos"

I'm aware it's unpopular but I'm patriotic so I'm afraid the casual digs as if I'm not proud to be English / british don't really hit with me . I'm a casual student of history and we have a huge amount to proud of , let's not kid ourselves we have a few less proud events in our past as well . I however asked a question and I tried to reduce your paragraph to a few words , I personally believe there is a little more to british culture than not raping kids but we all see things differently .

What I'm not is a little englander that seems to think stopping johnny Foriegner having the same rights as every other citizen will make them feel interegrated . no child benefit for example ? Having had family receive NHS care I'm certainly pleased with the quality of some immigrants to this nation . I also have a grudging admiration for immigrants who manage to take everyone's jobs and be lazy benefits scrounges apparently simultaneously .

I absolutely think it's important I don't think its a revolutionary idea like.

You're trying to disagree with me for the sake of disagreeing with me.

Not once have I alluded to what you're accusing me of. My idea for the regulations would actually encourage more of those people you mention whilst weeding out the less than desirables ( which you seem to ignore the fact that we are letting in ). I just see a system in place where it's like ,let 10 people in in the hope we get 5 who can contribute to our society. How about only letting 100% of people who are going to help us.

Tolerance might have done but perhaps wouldn't have allowed what I think was a thinly veiled dig at either the muslim faith or Roman Catholic priests , can't quite make my mind up which .

Who gives a [Poor language removed] what a couple of thousand edl members think? Christ why are you even talking about them. Such an insignificance.

How about explaining how to determine the 100%?

As pat says how exactly ?

By making sure they can't claim benefits and arent Jew exterminators or child rapers ?

No that they have enough money to support themselves, that they have accommodation to go to without relying on the state, that they have a job already to go to, and yes that they can't claim benefits for at least a year and that they can speak English.

That would sort out the sort of people we want and who want to be here for reasons other than the benefits they get. It's not unreasonable no matter how much you try to make other people's opinions look stupid, which we all know is a classic left wing tactic.
