As suggested before with betting market moves - Tories open up 4 point lead with Opinium, worrying. 4 points is around the figure they need to be at for a chance of govt (coalition)

..UKIP are continuing to shoot themselves in the foot. When under the spotlight they have no substance and the quality of their candidates looks extremely poor. This fact alone is a major boost for the Conservatives. If UKIP played a 'safe' game they would have been fine but they have been found out.

Some one should do a bit more digging and probing of the SNP as well. All we have heard of is Sturgen, who isnt even standing, not a peep out of Salmond.

...yep, Salmond and Sturgeon are impressive politicians (whether you believe in them or not) but as you say, who are the multitude of candidates below them. If there is a coalition, we might have a Deputy Prime Minister and Sectetary's of a State folk haven't heard of or heard from.

Show of hands, who here had any idea what confidence and supply meant before this month?

Not me.

But then again, it might have only been made up a few weeks ago.

But I had also no idea who was leader of Plaid Cymru. Now I know it is that welsh lady, er, Leanne something?
