Ghost...first let me say that I was brought up on one of the poorest areas of Bootle and lost both parents at a very young age, and had to live with an older sibling and my parents was normal working class, and if I done anything wrong then you would get a slap..Simple, I don't pretend to have an answer, but from my day as a kid running about all over Liverpool with friends, and raising 4 children to show respect for there peers and treat everyone like you would like to be treated then have to read in a local paper (Norwich now) that a 14 year old boy was sent to Spain for a weeks counselling as he blamed his crime (mugging a 87 year old female for 9 pound) on his upbringing because his parents had never taken him away on a holiday made me sick.

I love this country and I'M PROUD to be British...but tell me please when was the last time you seen a load of youths not standing on a corner smoking,spitting,swearing and generally being a pest to those people living close!!!, I for one have seen it as I'm sure many people have, when I was a kid whatever ya mam or da said that was the law ...nowday's if you say anything to them your told to F***** ya self if I said that to someone when I was a Kid and my ma or da found out you would get battered!!!

And Politicians will always back the poor unfortunate Induvidual to make them look good!!! all of them are Crap..personal Opinion!!

The SNP failed at their prime goal - to get independence. The SNP (or the Yes campaign) massively inflated the value of the oil, in order to create the illusion of a sustainable economy. How can the Scots trust them on this issue going forward?

The SNP are bad, very bad, for the rest of the UK and Cameron is right to use them to indirectly dissuade people from voting Labour.

Might (or might not) be worth pointing out one more error in Mr Cameron's assessment of the situation. No nationalist party has ever had the influence that the SNP will exert on a minority Labour Government.

1883, 1892 and 1910 parliaments had a much stronger nationalist contingent in the Irish Parliamentary Party (about 80 seats).

Probably unimportant but suggests his PPE degree was less than rigorously marked.

Is Labour meant to physically prevent members of other parties going into the voting lobby in support of a Labour Queen's Speech?

Cameron is using them as the bogey man, as everthing else as failed,Labour could use the unionist DUP the same way its not that long ago it was called the conservative and unionist party after all.
People saying they will have Labour over a barrel are overlooking that sturgeon ect are making a big play of them wanting the tory party out of goverment, how can they vote agaist labour even if they dont get a pact?
it would mean the tory party gets in because of them, or a second election , and people in scotland seeing that the anti tory stance is just a tool , either way it would be a political suicide, they will get there bluff called, and take what ever scraps labour gives to let them stay in line, with the odd bit of a face saving stance over trident to say they are pulling things in a diffrent direction.

if you ignore the IMF + various other International organisations and only believe information coming out of to the Westminster Spin Machine.

They would be no worse off than Denmark and most of Scandinavia which isn't worse off at all.

Every bit as dangerous for this country for many, as the SNP having a say for others. The LDs sold out 5 years ago. They had a sniff of power and got drunk on it. They abandoned their principles and sh*t on many many people who voted for them. They didn't even have the decency to make the Conservatives life difficult in the last 12 months or so by breaking up the coalition and fighting for what they genuinely believe in - a move that would have earned them a lot more support than they're going to get this time round. It's fairly obvious it doesn't matter to Clegg that his party is a mess or indeed who is in charge as long as he can be sat at the top table.

Of course they have. Abolishing the 10p tax rate was an abomination.
