To get 302 seats you'll have to take Chester, Warrington South and Wirral West. I've been out in all 3 doorknocking and the mood is very very good amongst party members. Chester is neck and neck the other two Labour will take with ease.

ICM - most accurate pollsters in 1997, 2001 & 2010 elections. It was the one poll that had me worried, delighted it has converged to show a similar trend to most others.

Worth point out with ICM Labour actually ahead if you look at the figures 37-33 but due to Labour voters not being as sure on voting there is a 4 point weigh.
Maybe there'll be more than me in the polling station when I vote in the Wirral West constituency - it'll make a change.

muh benefits

.........I posted yesterday that voting reform might be on the agenda if we continue to get electoral stalemates. Interestingly, C4 News reporting Lab/Lib are discussing an anti-Tory package that could trump anything Cameron tries to put together. An aspect of that agreement could be PR.

That Scottish bird in charge of the snp looks and sounds like a crafty one,Defo trouble in store there if Labour get in bed with them.

There is a clear left bias on this website, wonder why? Is to do with location? protection of benefits? or what. Come on why are so many pushing for Labour? what is they are offering that gets your vote?

One item, look at the NHS, where are the 20,000 nurse, 8,000 GPs and 3,000 Midwives going to come from and when? Will they be told which hospitals they have to go to and have no choice? How long will their contracts be and at what rate of pay? How will they be paid for? As for the MansionTax this is going to be elastic money it will have to stretch a long way. However it will be something like nearly two years before this produces money and when it does the tax will not be ring fenced but go into the overall tax pot. So how will the shortfall be met if there is no tax money only one way, borrow! Any ideas anyone?

What ever it is going to be an interesting weekend. BTW apparently Strurgeon has a meeting with ED set for Friday.
