The batting unit needs to sort itself out like, even the form player bell was poor for a year, wouldnt want to face the saffas right now. On lancs fox, what do you make of kerrigan

He is probably in the top 25 batsmen in the world at the moment though. That may be a reflection of the quality of batsmen. If you don't fancy him, you don't fancy him, I guess, but he is technically one of the soundest we have and we are one of the best at this time.

shame rashid hasn't lived up to the hype. harries at glamorgan was getting wonderful stats in the 4-day game with bat and ball so would be interesting to see if he ever gets a test call up.

agree with bell not being world class, but i think you have to put cook into that bracket. said before that i think cook will end his career 2nd behind tendulkar with international tons in all forms. he won't get them if he keeps playing like he is at the moment. he's always turned it around before in the past though. needs a ton in the next test to get some confidence.
