No need to declare at all today. Knock it around for half an hour tomorrow morning, still gives the best part of 6 sessions to bowl these shysters out. TBH I think they would do well to survive for half of those.

i do enjoy smashing them, loved the last series, but this is just a joke now, put them out of their misery. they've spent all day to get one wicket, get them in for a couple of overs and get 2 out and laugh.

er, because despite the score it's still a Test Match!
We've got to this position with a gameplan, so just stick to the plan.. it seems to be working well.

Anyway, from what I can tell the run rate has picked up substantially in the last session.

well played root lad, i think it really is time for a declaration now cooky lad, nothing more to gain from this, aussies wont reach half this score. openers don't want to come out at this time of day with 500+ needed to win having done nothing in the field all day
