cheers, harris is class. I said at the start of the innings, all England have to do is see him off, perhaps unsettle his rhythym, and they'd be fine.

i watched the first session and johnson was absolutely cack, but i did say he'd get a wicket with one of those ****e balls down leg. Trott and Carberry allowing aus the time for that extra over could well be the key to the match. trott gifts him the wicket and all of a sudden his confidence is up. Trott has been poor for a while, he's looked good while he's batting, but he's been getting himself out virtually every time, he never did that two years ago.

You can't have a test No.3 with no confidence in your team though, i can't remember a test vs aus this year where england haven't been 3 down for under 100

Thing is, Trott's been looking poor, even in ODIs, whilst still averaging 50, I'd kill for that haha.

Very India of the 2000s, all great players have their day come and go.

Johnson came back out after lunch that second day with something injected in him, I'd be getting him tested, he turned it up.

Aussie home fans a bit cheaper apparently...
So many empty seats though.

Yeah, surprising me. Perhaps a good win will get them back interested.

How good was that bouncer (and swerve by Bell) by the way? As Bill Lawrie would say, "It's all go, it's all happening here".

Good for England that isn't it?

What do England need to do here? Commentator just said we need to stay in for another 50 or so overs? Impossible job really if thats true.

And another 90 the following day mate.

Sunday commitments done, Cricket time.

And it's started raining Macca, unlucky.

Just got back from a couple hours down the beach, bloody hell it's not good is it? Pray for rain!

Clarke showing his true colours near the end. Sorry NHD, he's a [Poor language removed].

agreed, they all are. especially warner. they've been trounced consistantly for the last 3/4 years in ashes cricket, yet one win and their acting all billy bollocks. Loved boycott saying, he's only got 3 test centuries and yet he's acting like he's wally hammond.

would love to see england bounce back, it is a team with a lot of character, but that is an abysmal pathetic defeat that has been coming for a good year and a half. Their bowlers have constantly dug them out and got draws in these situations with ball AND bat, but this was one step too far. 136 and 179 on a deck like that? That is Bangladesh style of bad.

I had a bad feeling about this series based on the last one, let's hope that is a kick up the ass, because boy did they need it. Pretty sure Gooch should be coming under scrutiny for all these woeful batting performances, they're all top class batsman as showed by their averages.
