I had a battered burger from Lobster Pot the other day after a skin-full. Thought i'd died and gone to heaven. Too many and i'll definitely be dieing soon.

You can get a small burger and chips for 1.30 from lobster pot...and its a big pile of chips too.

Their scallops are good. Also, try Z. Tams on Rathbone Road. Best fried rice around. And their salt and pepper chips are boss.

Giorgios by Huyton Leisure gets my vote. Their beef fried rice is as nice as anything I've had in a Chinese restaurant and my old man says the same about their Singapore vermicelli. Absolutely boss.

Christ I was so sure before I saw this..but as an all rounder it has to be George and Gerrys, Aintree Road, Bootle. Its near the jail so you can make that VO just a little more special.
