I don't know why but I've never bought a car yet that I haven't modified in some way - usually for extra power then get rid before it explodes. My greatest exploit was taking an Audi A3 2 litre diesel from the standard 150hp to near 400hp - but the stage 4 turbo proved to be something of a disappointment as the lag was too great. Mind you, hit 2500rpm and it went berserk (& sideways so I knew I had overcooked it a tad)
