Both yes I think. One was a collector who died recently in a plane crash. I saw him driving a 911, the GT3, an old body AMG, and at least one more very fast car I’ve forgotten. His son has a 4 door Porsche EV (Taycan?).

The other I’ve only seen driving a Cayman but he also has a beautiful blue Ferrari. But mostly he drives a gigantic King Ranch diesel Canyonero.

Ok, so the blue Ferrari, maroon Cayman, King Ranch Canyonero guy drives a GT4RS, I was greatly mistaken. Beast of a car still, but not a GT3 like the other guy in our garage. Here it is this morning parked next to someone else's KRC.

Most of interesting was an Alfa Gtv 2.0.

Beautiful car, both in looks and to drive, with an engine note, that was just perfection.

Electrics were made of spaghetti and you just didn’t know when it would work or not.

The rain affected it’s starting and when it was really hot, the rain immobiliser sometimes wouldn’t switch off

I had one of them too. A silver one. Got the front end took off it in London when I went through a red light by accident.

To be honest I had 3 years of trouble free motoring. The only issue was a droopy front bumper which the majority had. Fixed with 2 new brackets. Loved it and yes you're right lovely engine sound but ruined on later models due to emissions standards when they changed the engine. Mate of mine had a 3.2 V6 Busso. Probably the best engine noise ever.

Dead easy to swap both sub frames. I'd love an old mini again. Well expensive for a decent one now though.
