The David Moyes debate

Ha Ha Ha Ha.

Wouldn't it be lovely if it were so. Anyone who gets over a loss like that in that space of time couldn't really care in the first place.

How long have you been an Evertonian mate?

And more needless knocking of fellow supporters. Childish.

The loss at Goodison still annoys me when i think about it even though that was down to the referee more than anything, and that was 7 months ago now. The Anfield loss makes me fume.

Trophies aren't what was being discussed. But on that topic, surely you must have been happy when Moyes rested all those players before the derby then? If the league doesn't matter. It matters to those with season tickets and it matters to the bottom line.

No, because we should be fighting on all fronts and attempting to win every game. He threw the derby, almost admitting it a week later, he didn't go out to win that game but to nearly turn up to the fixture as it seemed an inconvenience compared to the fa cup.

The point was that well have the last laugh if we finished above the rs. My point was if we were to finish 8th, the rs above us, but wed won 2 of the 3 trophies possible in the English premier league, I know whod have had the more successful season.

We should give everything in all competitions. But if it came to it and we gave everything but finished mid to low mid table comfortablely without the threat of relegation and had a trophy on the back of it....that would do me.

The history books show how much youve won, not where in the league you ended up.

I don't think anyone has said that 7th above the RS is better than 8th below them with a trophy and we all want to end the drought asap. Fighting on all fronts makes sense and is something we've done under DM imo. Just this year Moyes thought: derby = suspensions and injury almost every time. I get that, not that I am condoning the extent to which he rested players but Moyes shares your opinion more than ever: Trophies are getting more and more important with every passing year. I am glad he realises that but he, bar the derby, hasn't rested that many players. Felli played against Sunderland because Moyes wanted 3 points and he knew Felli has been slaughtering them of late. We have been challenging on all fronts. We were 5 points behind the RS after the derby and we are now a point ahead.
