He may not be the most technical player, but you can't have 11 of them in one team. You need a Hibbert sometimes.

I'm actually, genuinely devastated, I honestly prefer Hibbo at right back; agreed he isn't great going forward or crossing the ball and he's not that quick but as a solid, traditional defender I really don't think there are many better. I'd rather see Coleman on the right wing infront of Tony, i'd feel safe when the opposition attack down their left (our right) if we played that way!

And we'd be bored out of our skulls with the complete lack of imagination in our play down that flank. Coleman's going to be a better defender than Hibbert ever was anyway.

you need balance though, we had none when hibbert was a first team player, everything had to come down the left

Aside from the language in the last sentence, you simply cannot apply that rule unless you don't rate Leighton Baines, and that would be totally absurd.

Coleman's not a winger, he's way more effective coming from deep. I love Hibbo but he's a dying race and the likes of Coleman are the future
