The EU deal

The 340. Million a week is rebateable, but the catch is they dictate on how we spend the rebates on schemes like cycle tracks that the majority of cyclist ignore etc buildings for minority's etc so in other words we do send that money over only to be told how some of it has it has to be spent!
It's like your boss giving you a rise, and saying how you have to spend the proceeds of that rise!
Too much red tape it cost 100 million to maintain the two parliaments in the EU they have not audited their accounts!
If it was a vote to join the EU in its present state ? No chance it would be a landslide of a no thanks we will stay independent!
As a big nation we would be fine, we could trade world wide without the beurocrats !

LIES!
The European Court of Auditors (ECA), an EU body set up to examine the accounts of the Union, signed off on the 2014 accounts as reliable—something it's done for every set of figures since 2007.

As long as there are people who hate on foreigners in our country I won't change the record, no. I will defend to the hilt the many millions of immigrants who helped build our nation and I will defend them when people point the finger and say it's their fault that the nation they helped to build is 'supposedly' struggling. Its a disgusting, horrible lie.
Dont you think the current free movement policy is providing the fuel for certain sections of the media to stoke the flames though?

Interesting take on things that. Never really considered it that way.
Well you should the Euro is in meltdown Look how they treated Greece, I remember being outside the EU in the commonwealth it was bliss, oh and we had immigration, but on our terms, oh and they accepted our culture back then no problems at all!
As soon as I was sucked to vote to join boy what a difference it was mainly to help the farmers, and every thing went up food wise!

It was to do with the bit where you said all the men fleeing ISIS should be ashamed of themselves. Thanks for your service, just checking.

I don't think that civilians fleeing barbaric terrorism should be 'ashamed' though, personally.
In all honesty anyone who's say's they're not scared of those savages is either lying or mad.
I feel for the people and I have no objection to those in dire need, coming here.
The whole situation is one big mess but I just feel that it should be us who decide what's best for us, and the needy.

I'm voting to leave and immigration was not my main reason. My main reason was UK law, when the EU decided that prisoners here should be allowed to vote, even though our own government objected, then I decided enough was enough.
Not my only reason but this turned me against the EU.

All the best

Who's 'hating' on them?

Come on - who - and how?

Our own lower classes helped build this country as much as any 'immigrants' did. This country was built during the industrial revolution squire, on the sweat of our own men, women, and yes - even children. A long time before the days when the floodgates were opened to millions of eastern europeans, or the 60's when it was jamaicans, bangladeshis, pakistanis, indians et al.

But don't let facts get in the way of your over-emotive, hand-wringing, 'mea culpa' agenda.

It's all a big circus this IMO. Neither side can put forward a half decent argument as to why we should stay/leave without the other side laughing at the facts and figures put forward, putting forward their own facts which ends up in petty bickering between the 2 sides.

Why can no one give a balanced debate and allow people like me (young, not that into politics, don't own my own business etc) means to make an informed decision? All I get is the leave campaign telling me how we spend x amount per week to be in the EU (without ever mentioning the fact we get a lot back as well) and the in campaign telling me that we're more vulnerable to attacks and war is more likely if we leave (because the rest of Europe will stand back and watch as the North Koreans bomb us but don't step in to help because we're not part of their gang anymore).

For me, the most condensed argument I can give is that anyone who says they know what will happen when we leave is massively deluded or lying. The idea that we will be a great trading power again by default is fanciful. And the other arguments for leaving just aren't that well justified, for me.

So I think it's better to stay in and have a voice, even though there needs to be a lot of change.

None of the main campaigns have represented the argument well whatsoever, though. I think it's a very complicated matter, that doesn't warrant simple narratives/headlines - so people should listen to the experts & academics.
