The EU deal

No, we gain 2 providing that the Article 50 can be concluded in a timeframe set by unknown members during an unknown meeting held in a secret place at an unknown time.

As clear as a bucket of muddy water on a foggy day !!

Two extra places is pretty good though !

Can you find me some figures which show that we are a house of plenty, because those that I have would suggest otherwise. If you could factor in the cost to other health providers across the EU, from looking after UK citizens it would be most useful.

And btw, holding the US up as an example of how we should run healthcare, during an argument where you are trying to convince people to leave, really isn't doing your side any favours.
We are that popular they camp outside the tunnel, they are now crossing the channel by motor board it's not rocket science our systems and wages are a big pull!
Most poor EU countries pay £3 per hour with no social benefit plain as the nose on Daves face which grows daily !

Ah yes but one spot will automatically be given to Liverpool because they, apart from winning it 5 times (in case you hadn't heard). Their only stipulation being that no club with the letters N O T R E V E may be in the competition while they are in it also.

Again, wholly irrelevant to the EU debate. EU migrants don't of course camp out at Calais. Nor will there be any camps there if we leave.

And yet we are still the 5th richest economy in the world. Once again, you are looking in all the wrong places. Have a quick gander in the BVIs, Panama, Switzerland etc. and your reasons as to why things aren't what they once were will be found. Leaving the EU isn't going to solve any of this. In my humble opinion, it will make it worse.
And how exactly is that calculated? We have the 5th largest GDP?

What's the point of having a large GDP if it's mostly owned by a small few. Restricting immigration to what is needed and only needed will help the working class more than electing any one particular party or leader.

I was in Paris for a few days last week. At passport control at CDG Airport in paris, the queue for NON passports was absolute chaos and enormous, whilst the queue for EU passports was very small. About the first time in my life I can remember thinking 'Thank god we are in the EU!
I can live with that.

My mistake, it's the immigrants fault. Remove them from the equation and it will all be ok. What a ridiculous view, you surely can't be serious.

That is part of the control. In the previous referendum it was to remain or opt out of the Common Market, a trading bloc, not the corporate behemoth that it has become and was always intended to.
A level playing field of trade is fine but when you move to commitments for membership and expansionist policy then that is just fuelling disparity.
There's no such thing as a level playing field. It's good for countries to use monetary policy and corporation tax to improve their economy.

Look at Greece. What Greece needs to do is to revert back to it's own currency and lower it's corporation tax. If there wasn't the migrant problem the tourist industry and other industries would come flooding back.

"A level playing field" just plays into the hands of the wealthy countries like Germany and for the union to work it would then also require wealth transfer to poorer countries to work properly. Unfortunately how this would then work in practice is that the richer country would have control of the poorer country which essentially removes democracy from the poorer country and makes the poorer country nothing more than a province.

If it doesn't work like that and instead there's a system where Germany has essentially no more control but still pays for the poorer country then the tax burden on the German people is going to be so great it will essentially disenfranchise their workers and no one will work.

The EU is a half baked idea. That is no solution unless you are happy for the German and Northern European people to run Europe while the Southern Europeans are dragged kicking and streaming to emulate the neo-liberal Germans.

That's the project. That's what you are voting to be part of.

A large part of the problem is the increase in % of the population of poorer people. It's driven up house prices and put a strain on public services.

Even the migrants on low pay get tax credit and housing benefit I notice dodgy Dave omits them from the figures, yet the pay taxes , but they also receive working benefits and free NHS!

Yep.

£2bn net income per year from immigration....for a net increase of 184,000 - or a large town the equivalent of Swindon being added to the populace every YEAR.

Not much of a return, is it?

But apparently we're well able to cope!??

As for the NHS, all's they need to do is collect some scrap metal, get it sold at the scrapyard, take their receipt to the DWP, tell them they're self-employed - and hey presto! They get an NI number, which gives them totally unhindered access.

We're being shafted by as many that are coming here to graft. It's got to be knocked on the head.
