Put your tin hat on lad. Everton haven't sold him, hes put a request in...see what i'm getting at

The players are the ones who force the move, thats my point. Regardless if its the start of the season or the end of the window, players have the power.

So your saying that the club are telling these players to wait until the last minute and put a request in?? Quite strange as to why Baines and Coleman never left then, or even Barkley, or McCarthy or Kev.

We have assets to sell all over the shop.

Have I missed Coleman's transfer request in the last week of the window? Baines'? McCarthy's?

None of these ever happened to the best of my knowledge.

In that case answer the question you were asked how you were asked .....instead of giving examples (And wrong ones at that) of players who were sold in the last week of the window.....regardless of whether they handed in a request or not (As some of yours hadn't even handed in requests but were sold anyway).

Wait there, lets back up a minute because I think you're confusing yourself.

You're blaming Everton because John Stones has handed in a transfer request in the last week of the window and basically saying the board are, on purpose, cashing in our stars by selling them in the last week of the window (despite them all handing in a transfer request). Yet accepting that they haven't sold these other players because they haven't handed in a request??

So surely if the board are just cashing wouldn't they be selling assets every year, whether or not they hand in a request

I think you've riddled yourself

He's tied himself in knots with his illogical nonsense. He's merely ploughed into this with his agenda at the fore, reaching the conclusion that suits it, he's failed to actually think about how this conclusion stands up to logical examination, as he's decided it's 'fact'

Kenwright and Co need to sell up and move on, but to leap in and blame them for a young player handing in a transfer request after one of the most outrageous tapping up by media campaigns of recent times by Chelsea, after said board have rejected 3 massive bids and consistently said the player is going nowhere, is nothing more than puerile and childish nonsense imo.

@the esk is there any evidence even in the slightest that the board are "stealing, hiding away, pocketing" money from the club as other posters have stated or implied? personally think we've just been poorly run. there's a large difference between incompetence and criminal activity

I literally have no idea what the hell he was going on about. Tried to make sense of it, like the Da Vinci code I read it a couple of times but he stumped me.

Its easy to blame the board for Stones' request; how can this young talented player want to leave for more money and play in the Chapions League along side some of the greatest players in the world......the answer is simple, its Kenwrights, its happend 4 times in the past 16 years its a consipiracy. If they wanted him out the first bid would have been accepted, after all it was a potential £24m profit

They do need to call it a day, they're not blue chip and they have that old 80's feel about them.

None whatsoever; poorly run, poor business decisions. Thats about it; accounts are audited externally and submitted, and any irregularities found would result in some serious sentences, especially for skimming off the books.

The OOC have got people in a right fluff, because they can't undertand its they take it as an automatic "its being robbed"

agreed. the board have done a terrible job running the club from a business aspect and think they should sell but not buying that they're literally stealing money. just wanted to ask the opinion of those with more financial experience and know-how

We will always be making up the numbers whilst we have these squatters in control.

So the question is what as WE going to do about it?

is this the club with these owners what you want to hand overt to the next generation of supporters.

We should be ashamed of ourselves for allowing this to go on 20 years.

There is no evidence whatsoever of criminal activity.

There's nothing more than a tenuous link (that being a common corporate address in the BVI) between Earl and Vibrac.

The accounts are audited by Deloittes and they have not passed any comment on any irregularities.

What are YOU going to do about it?

We'll take our lead from your great example mate

Nothing criminal in the legal sense, no doubt about that, just badly badly run.

They're made some critical calls when debt was high, they shipped and outsourced, which in theory was the correct decision at the time. But has debt reduced there was no plan to bring it back inhouse and look at expanding it, they're happy with "how it is", this takes me back to them not being a blue chip board. Its a prestige thing, something you'd see in the 80's, chuffing on a cigar and telling your old chums that you're a director of a club.

Somethings not right, i have my theories, based on my own research and speaking to others. But this is something we'll never find out
