Oh, I dunno. Someone with time on their hands could sort out the accounts, and write down the other clear failings of the board. Get someone with UX experience to assist in the design of a webpage. Host the page with a clear a focused target. Then push that webpage to various Everton and media outlets. Here, social media, elsewhere. Engage with detractors, but do it with respect.

Do the media's work for them. Get enough page views and likes and the media will begin to pick up on it. Let it grow organically from there. The club are obviously not going to present evidence of their own failings. It is up to an independent group to rationally expose the problems and outline a plan to address them. If that is rational enough, clear enough, and can get enough exposure...things will sort themselves out.

EDIT:
As for the Blue Union: I have no horse in that race...I honestly don't even know much about that race. I'm American and started following the club in '09, so I don't get a lot of exposure to them. That said, there seems to be blood in that water - they are not likely to be able to be the group that handles this due to whatever caused the friction in the past. But the failings of the past are lessons to the present.

The club will likely lash back at whatever starts this. It's important to keep it completely provable, sourceable and verifiable so they have less ammunition.
Agree with this. Am happy to contribute to some extent but am very busy at the moment.
Call it Evertonians for change or EFC

This is why the argument has to be de-personalised mate.

The argument has to be pro-Everton not anti-Bill.

We need to discuss and present what is best for the Club (and therefore the shareholders) not constantly refer to the past.
You're right, mate. It is very frustrating listening to other people tell us what we should be happy with, what we should expect and that basically we are wrong to be wanting any more than what we already have.

Football should be about hope and excitement, not that this is as good as it gets.

I fully agree but the club doesn't answer any questions regarding finances ( including the mysterious operating costs ) or non staff dealings without throwing Bill in front of the cameras talking about his childhood love of the club etc or showing us his face on the big screen for the fans to clap for him.

Most of us can relate so it's not unique . The trouble is (as you say ) that both sides insult each other and use Bill as a club to hammer home their points e.g Happy Clapper or Kopite.

The B.U has the questions and some answers but no guile or real plan and that's a shame as they have some very clever guys involved . The fans who want the current board to stay should be respected for their loyalty and also make some fine points regarding risk.

I myself would like a new board with Bill involved and resources that place us with our red rivals.

Edit.

Forget what I said ,RaleighBlue said it better and quicker than I did.
This may come across as petty, but why do you want Bill involved?

I'd hate the thought of him having any input in the future of this club. He has continually failed in every business decision he has made other than to hire Moyes.

The basis can only be 'he is a blue'. I don't even class him as that. There is no way I could sit there and allow us to fall so far behind our rivals for 16 years, I doubt the majority of other blues could either.

Think thats the thing that is the problem... it has to be all about the betterment of Everton. Bills failings or not, am not bothered who it was, there needs to be change.

Right now it appears we have with no plan, no direction except for treading water each year and hoping we get a decent enough position in the league for the extra £800k you get... Is that good enough??

Nothing but the best...

I continue to totally disagree with you on this. It's the middle ground evertonians that need to be won over and it's these blues who have no idea what's happened in the past.

That's without getting into the idea of educating the media on the past means they might actually look into us Properly instead of just spouting opinion

The only approach that will succeed (without huge collateral damage) is to keep stating facts, offering the solutions, and challenging the media in particular on their current perceptions.

All of which has to be done professionally, calmly and constructively.

But most of their opinions is based on how they see the past. Unsure how you challenge their opinions without talking about the past!?

Let's be fair , the real issue with the Saintly one is that he has surrounded himself with useless advisors and a board who won't invest their own money. Bill himself does care about the club and he is a half decent figure head . His stories about his childhood are like a poor Jedi mind trick .

Any transition would be better if he was part of it . In a public but benign fashion .

If you haven't done it yet, I urge you to go on Twitter and read the tweets by @watchedtoffee. It makes great reading but also very concerning. Would be great if we could get his tweets in to a word format to get in to one long read on the forums or better still to forward to journalists.

I have been reading his tweets and I agree it's all spot on but as someone said earlier in the thread , it's all info that has been out there for a while but its always useful to repeat then in the hope that more people pick up on them .

Vibrac , Kings Dock , ring fencing funds and NTL . It's all there .

hes already said hes been contacting journalists himself. think he said only one was interested, the rest dont want to know, bills influence on the media is far reaching.
