I suggest we all offer Bill Kenwright the amnesty of two more transfer windows, as a show of appreciation for the consistent stability he's brought and for the fine football under Martinez.

If, after the summer window, we've not improved our squad, then let's resume the criticism.

Spurs are our rivals, they're not on a level above us.

We're not in danger of relegation.

We may well win a cup or even the league with Bill still in charge.

I doubt Martinez would announce the possibility of transfers without first securing the finance. We're doing reasonably well, give a bit of slack.

The plus side is that we'd have loads of money to spend and possibly get the stadium sorted, the downside is that all over the world we would be known as 'the Everton reds'
