The 10M surplus from the last window: anyone think this is being spent in January plus what's received coming in from Jelavic/Heitinga?

If it's not spent, does anyone think Martinez will have that cash to spend in the summer (or what's left over from this January window) plus the 25M extra revenue from the tv deal that IS available to all clubs officially to spend?

The fact that we all laugh at the prospect of that happening tells you all you need to know: we all accept that we're being run by people who cant be trusted to fund the playing side of the club and who find *creative* ways to "account" for the missing millions or else just simply cant be arsed to justify it all because they know they wont be seriously pushed to explain themselves (apart from that isolated period 18 months ago when the Blue Union people got a lot of media attention and BK and his fellow carpet baggers became very alarmed).

The owners of this club are taking the piss on a grand scale. Two failed stadium schemes and zero investment in 14 years. They should be beaten with sticks and placed in stocks.

I think he's putting these surplus funds in a side account until we've got enough for a boss ground then he'll announce it as his leaving gift when he sells us to some seriously rich football fans.

I've yet to see any conclusive proof of the board turning down offers from would be buyers with the right financial clout to enable us to compete with the City's and Chelsea's of this world.

Kenwright told the world about the ICI man and the Manc.

He let them pore through the books only because they told him they had the money he was asking for.

He couldnt give a monkeys who it is as long as they pay him.

...is the side account held at Les Ambassadeurs?

Shiniwatra 'bought' Manchester City and didn't sctually put any money into the club. Other directors stumped up for wages etc, on his promise. The disgraced 'facilitator' recommended the Bedsit guy and the ICI guy to Bill. It was Bill who saw through them. (Source...'transcript' of interview published by Blue Union . )
No one should be in any doubt that we need majority shareholders who have the ability to level up the playing field a little with the big money plaything clubs, and to progress either a redeveloped GP or new stadium, and this means new majority shareholders, but some ,a lot, of the nonsense talked about BK on here is just as it was on Kipper, nothing more than the usual people enjoying some internet slapstick.

That's simply not true.

Problem is that whilst kenwright may well offer a lower amount for his shares to the right person I highly doubt someone like Robert earl would (and nor should he as he's in it as an investment, not for boyhood love). As many have said, the stadium is an issue so to buy the club and get a new stadium would probably cost more than £500m (not sure how much renovating Goodison would cost but reckon that could well be the better option in terms of need and finances), so if you were someone looking to buy a football team would you throw that kind of money at a club (especially one not in London) which will take a lot of work to get things up to a high quality standard or spend a fraction of that buying someone like Leicester/Sheffield clubs/wolves/Brighton in the lower divisions or even someone like villa or Newcastle in the top flight who don't need a stadium so you can invest more in youth/staff/players.

Always felt that the lack of an acceptable stadium will put off the majority of serious investors and the location too (someone like tony Fernandes would have been pretty good had he come in when he bought QPR), so think its a case of like it or lump it with bill

You just are not getting it as usual.

Kenwright is just after the money as is evident by letting them look at the books. He isnt interested in what happens after that.
