Every player will have a “Book Value”, or something along the lines of that.

So for example, if City decided to sell Haaland in the summer to PSV for £2m, it would raise suspicions, as why so low? Same for if we sold Keane for £200m.

Watford/Udinese have a method for making it work, but even then that’s still quite dodgy.

Dodgy is Everton's middle name at the moment 🤣

But yeah I understand, like someone else has mentioned... Maybe useful in the loan of players and scouts

All the fans saying "you don't need to spend dough to be successful" where were ya'll when we were finishing top 7 under Moyes every season with fantastic player trading ala Brighton but had an owner unwilling to spend that bit extra to push us on?

You (rightly) were calling for Kenwright to go as we needed an owner with money to break the glass ceiling like Newcastle are doing now.

We need someone with dough long term unless you're happy with midtable football for the next 10+ years.

2 poor seasons of relegation scraps shouldn't lower expectations to the point of us being happy to be another Crystal Palace for the rest of our days.

Come on Moshiri walk away from these Yank vultures and find us the buyer to transform us into a powerhouse again !
They aren’t vultures, they’re something Moshiri and co aren’t, business savvy. They look at every area of the clubs/businesses they have under their umbrella and look at how to improve it to generate more income

Look at how weak, for example, our sponsorship and kit deals have been over the last decade or more compared to most of the league, we don’t even run our own retail operations because of the Fanatics partnership

This is what we need , good clean old fashioned American cash. Usmanov must be looking for somewhere else to launder his dirty Russian money..

Don't waste your time trying to explain anything to him mate, he still thinks some Arab can come in and spend silly money. Seems to forget we have a 90% wage bill and even if we had money we can't actually spend it and what we do spend we have to be very careful about. He is just showing he doesn't understand what the actual problem is at the club.

Genuine question....if we get bought out does our ffp position revert to 0 like Chelsea?
As it's basically the same reason our owner wants out, being targeted for Russian involvement albeit in a less blatant way

Don't think so because our FFP is purely down to losses/out goings and not debt of the club.

Chelsea cleared all its debt then cooked the books to spend within FFP (have huge revenue and minimal losses). The issue for them is the long term deals eating over the years and wages.

We'll still have a high wage to revenue turnover. But what they can do is look to increase revenue on the sale

Personally for me, I choose MSP, partly because I don’t really onow much about 777, but what I do like about MSP, is that they have proven sports executives on board.

Najafi is VP of the Suns I think?
Moorad was excellent in San Diego.

Anyone but Kenwright at this stage.
They do seem to have good people on board BUT if they are only acquiring say 20% how much say will those people have? If Moshiri comes into the room yelling “ANWAR EL GHAZI” can they stop him?

There’s also a serious question mark against anyone that would be willing to co-invest in any business run by Moshiri and his shady associates. I don’t want investors who are willing to simply turn a blind eye.

I know we're not United or the RS or anyone like that but I'm genuinely curious how as to why we aren't more attractive than we seem to be? We have a new stadium being built in an amazing location, a rabid fanbase AND Mr. Testicles. I guess it's down to a company wanting ROI or some Arab country wanting the finished project already? I dunno, it's all a bit crap tho.

I’d rather Moshiri didn’t sell out fully to either. Yes they may well have expertise in unlocking value and business generation in which case bring one or even both in as minority shareholders and let’s see what they can do. If they are as good as they boast they will create value for themselves and Moshiri…and get rid of Bill and DBB…….

A couple of companies supposedly interested at £600m makes us evidently waaaaaaay more attractive than I would have expected us to be if i'm honest.
