The Everton Board Thread

…..behind all this Boardroom turmoil, what really matters is we start the season with a stronger squad than the one we finished with.

More specifically, we have to do what Thelwell has failed to do in two windows, GIVE US MORE ATTACKING STRENGTH. It’s not rocket science, that we need a really effective central striker and genuine creativity and threat in wide areas. I’m confident we’ll survive if we give this manager that firepower.

Turmoil off the pitch ultimately transitions to issues on it, hopefully somebody is looking at playing requirements. If we are reliant on DCL going into next season it will be an abomination of everybody running our club.

It comes to something when we're hoping that two people we know f.a. about like Downing and Bell are going to join the board to save us.

I just want a man or woman on that board who can sign off on transfers. The rest is just nonsense for me now.
With respect though mate, is it not short term thinking again, as it was last season when in the relegation fight…..if it’s not now when is it the right time to protest the decisions at the club.

I agreed with you last season to secure PL survival, but saying the equivalent of the same thing now suggests to me you’ve seemingly now extended it to this close season as we just need to buy players. Once the season starts are you going to say…’well they need all of our support’, because if that’s the case, it’s just rinse and repeat and there will never be a good time to protest.

If Moshiri had a last chance, he's just well and truly blown it.

Starting to think the scrutiny on Usmanov's role at the club will be our only way to force change that makes a difference.

You'd think Moshiri wouldn't want the headlines that'll inevitably bring big attention on him and Usmanov.
The only chance he and his puppet master is interested in, is the stadium financing and a nice bill sale to allow them to realise a profit or at least break even. He couldn’t care less about the club or the fans

I want BK / FM out as much as anyone but we cannot be in perpetual crisis mode either. There has to be a focus on football and improving the squad urgently.

If the board is unable to do so, then relegation beckons. The constant politics at this club is absolutely exhausting.

Change, it's clear, will only come in small increments. We have to regroup and get set for the next battle but allow for some respite in between. It's a long war.

I hope this interim period is very short, mind you going off Everton's version of 48 hours, interim could mean anything.

Very short interim and then all new faces including chairman is the best we can hope for now.
