From these clowns right down to the ticket office there is zero ambition to be better. I am going full Karen here but had to email everton over a billing query and they said to allow 21 days for a response just to a generic query. Pathetic for a business the size of Everton
It may not be great for morale, but once the new board is in place, every single member of staff is on probation. Apols to any union reps who read this, but it's nowhere near good enough.

Maybe even ask them (staff) to re-interview for their role.

There's clearly some department heads who are far too comfortable. Get rid.

Plenty of others all too willing to take the spot.
 


I think we all knew what was coming in regards to him having a stand named after him 😩

I am all for him having a stand named outside the ground...

You see I see things differently. I see a lot of great, talented people who work tirelessly but are let down by the leadership of the organisation.

I know several of the box office who have been unbelievable.

Perception is everything and unfortunately those at the top have for too long caused anyone and everyone to hate all about EFC.

I don't think we're miles apart tbh.

I posted a few weeks back a bit more coherently on the same subject.

There's undoubtedly some great people amongst the staff, but the whole place lacks organisation and structure from the very top down.

You specifically mention the box office as having 'unbelievable' staff, yet that's the department that gets so much criticism for often being a shambles? The staff maybe great, but the systems in place are pathetic. Allocation of season tickets from a shared excel sheet? Season ticket seat moves off the same sheet? What is it, the mid 90s?

I'd wager there are some 'workers' who are a better fit than their managers, some would be better suited to another department etc.

Re-interviewing everyone shouldn't been seen as a threat, if they're capable they have nothing to fear. I'll bet most of them want to do a good job, it's the freewheelers that need weeding out.
