The Everton Board Thread

From these clowns right down to the ticket office there is zero ambition to be better. I am going full Karen here but had to email everton over a billing query and they said to allow 21 days for a response just to a generic query. Pathetic for a business the size of Everton
From a usually Dublin based fan perspective. There is a ‘civil service’ euphemism used in Ireland for friends, family and the unemployable of those in power.

Those I have personally dealt with on game days work hard and are pros but there is a stale stink about the old lady. One has to assume that chairman bill has stuffed the admin side of the shop with his mates over decades.

Massive reset required.

This been posted at all? The actual front of these two clowns

Daily Fail....they will be the Harvey, Kendall. Ball and Dean stands. Young restaurant, and there is scope to name each concourse individually- this also helps guide visitors to their seats, so they know where they are in each stand.

As for the BK - that can be one of the ticket offices, or maybe the shed where the lawnmowers will be kept

The BK urinals has a nice ring to it?

Watching the Chelsea game and I noticed they have no sponsor, found this.

Why does Chelsea’s new kit have no sponsor?
The football club’s deal with mobile phone company Three, which was worth £40 million a year, ended after last season. Chelsea was in talks with gambling firm Stake.com but they ended after a bad reaction from fans.

The Chelsea Supporters’ Trust said that by partnering with the betting company, the club would be making “total mockery” of the work the Chelsea Foundation had done to help people with gambling addictions.

The trust said the sponsorship was “not in line with the commitment of growing and developing Chelsea FC as a ‘world-class’ organisation” and that it would “alienate many supporters”.

According to the trust, 77 per cent of members “disagreed with the use of an online casino and betting company as the primary shirt sponsor”.

Even Chelsea have more honour than us.

Or they are not beggars, so can very much afford to be choosers. We have to take the begging bowl out to whoever will give us a few shillings. Again a sign of Everton fans lamenting that we are not competitive (which takes mega money) but also really annoyed that we are not sponsored by a charity or Jeremy Corbyn.

I would agree, if they didn't use the ending of the Sportpesa deal to ram home a hollow message about the values of the club.

We could be competitive by not throwing good money after bad with a stream of poor signings on high wages which would add up to a lot more than Stake sponsorship. That's what fans lament. Stake as a sponsor is not on the fans and it is ridiculous to suggest it. Plenty of positive sponsors are between charities and gambling companies too btw, your exaggeration doesn't support your point, it diminishes it

I didn’t say that our sponsorship was on the fans, but whatever. I suggested that we just can’t afford to have pretty much any moral objections. We are the worst run club in the league, this is a fact. We simply have to whore ourselves out to the highest (or probably only) bidder. Once we get to a point at which we are competently run, and competitive, maybe we can start waving companies away that don’t fit our ‘values’
