Can someone explain to me how we've not got a stronger squad than we did last season?

Ashley Young is a better option at left back than Mykolenko and Godfrey.

Andre Gomes is better than Tom Davies.

Danjuma is an option from either flank.

Branthwaite played most of last season, highly touted and less injury prone than Mina.

Losing Mina and Coady and having Michael Keane in the starting line up (he will not play Branthwaite) means we are significantly weaker right out of the gate.

We are starting Maupay, how on earth can you conclude that we have a stronger squad if Maupay leads the line. I think the Premier League should be able to expel us if we go into the campaign with Maupay up front on the grounds that we are taking the p*ss.

At the end of last season you all sat here and welcomed Sean Dyche's honesty about needing to be realistic.

Now you're all wetting the bed at the fact that we, as a club, cannot afford to splurge £18m on a relegated player.

It's obvious from a mile off that FM's money is stuck in Russia, and that MSP are struggling to ascertain the funding required to invest in the club. Interest rate hikes means that trying to find someone that can take on that risk now is a real issue.

Two good CBs have left ahead of 3 utterly garbage ones

We still have to rely on an aging right back because the back up is still raw, we have one actual left back

We have 2 midfielders that we can’t shift permanently because we were stupid enough to pay them massive wages they didn’t deserve

We have 1 fit striker at the club, who was a waste of funds, because we broke our main striker and farmed out our younger strikers

We over rely on our GK because we never buy competent back ups

I somehow don’t think he meant that as “we don’t need to buy anyone”

Inappropriate Language
Coady was [Poor language removed]. The end. We need a new CB but lets not revise history saying he was good.
