because of the way Rooney was handled.
Because of the inability to find the investment to back a manager and team ready to step up to the top level.
Because of the way Kirkby was handled
And any number of smaller things like the failed park end development

Kenwrights tenure as owner was saved by convincing Evertonians that having a manager and team that never won a thing was in fact "good times".

What saddens me is that there are people like you who would defend Kenwright even if we were playing Northampton in the third division.
It's been this way for 20 years. He's infallible, made of teflon.
And whenever there is a lot of hype online about wanting him gone, he always seems to have decent support at Goodison.
There are plenty of fans like you and I have to say, I just don't understand it.

So the fella who found Moshiri, sold a controlling stake to Moshiri, and insists on staying in a position of power re. the day to day running of the club, bears no responsibility?

7 years ago we were bottom half of the league in a stadium that was falling apart with creditors calling in debts while our owner searched 24/7 fir a buyer who’d let him stay on as chairman.

I bet he didn't tell us he was going to interfear at every chance he had, install Usmanovs Nephew on the board, install a revolving door on the managers office and move untold amounts of money through the club that we couldn't justify

I totally believe the rumours BK wasn't interested in a Monsour takeover as they wouldve wanted excellence to run the club which means he wouldn't be able to stay on. What's evident is both BK and Moshiri havent got what it takes - they both need to be gone. It's above madness to want to keep BK on after all these years of holding the club back. That's sentiment gone crazy. No more.
