The Everton Board Thread

The contradiction is that if youb get rid of the board then there's no one in place to sack them and hire their successor. Moshiri cant and wouldn't do all that.

We have 2 weeks to get a new manager and newe players.

THAT is my only concern because the rest is psycho-drama.
Yep there has to be a hierarchy, lowest hanging fruit first which can have an immediate impact whilst agitating for the removal of the board in the medium term. The output if successful is maintaining PL status and once safe a statement from the club re the voluntary standing down of key roles on the board (no one will ever say they were sacked) and that the process has begun for new governance and oversight

We need to get rid of the board and owner in order to then get a new manager in...in the next few days...and hand him nothing because there's no cash there?

I think the fans have finally sumberged to the idiotic level of the owner and board.

There's a perfect storm of terrible fan strategy in the middle of a season that will merge with the owner's and board's ongoing disgrace that will sink us now.

The fans saved us last season. The will to do it isnlt there now. There's only a will to kill ourselves because some believe it'll end Moshiri and the board. But it'll end Everton for a generation.
You are right in what you are saying but year after year we have had the growing anger at the board subside and deflected by their actions which have proven to be short term given they sack the manager within a season or so and any players bought are not done so with a plan leading to expensive problems on the pitch. There has to be a point where that anger does not go away because if it does then this time next year we will be back here again whether it be this league or below because it was clear this week from the words of the owner that the board alone are not fit to be running a football club.

TBH I dont vcare about who gets all the blame. I care about Everton surviving.

It goes without saying my heart is with those protesting the decimation of Everton FC, but I part company with people who demand resignations that aren;t remotely there to be had.

Timing is everything here. We're getting it wrong as a fanbase. Itl's an act of self-immolation we're seeing here.
Once Grant Ingles is removed from the board we'll start putting some chances away

“I was fighting to make a player contract of 50,000 a week 45,000 a week because that fit better in the wage structure and matched the quality of the player,” Brands added.

“And then the owner called, saying that he had been sitting with another player and that he could come for 175,000 a week. Then you say: ‘What’s that going to do in the dressing room? He earns three times as much as the others.’

This is taken from an interview with Brands, and there is no doubt that we have an owner who is completely incompetent. No wonder everything has rotted.

I have asked this question a few times Dave but you haven't answered. You're argument falls down because we all know your views on Moshiri

Do you honestly believe it is good for the club right now for Moshiri to select a new manager?

I'm afraid I do not. There are no easy solutions or quick fixes here.

I don’t condone the anger directed at the players, however, the board not turning up today has massively contributed towards it. They have hid in their houses and allowed Frank and the players to take the flack.
Yeah but in all fairness they absolutely totally would have been there front and center today, taking responsibility for it all, if only that super-legit and not-at-all coincedental "CrEdIbLe ThReAt" wasn't received in the nick of time.......... PHEW!
