The Everton Board Thread

You are right in what you are saying but year after year we have had the growing anger at the board subside and deflected by their actions which have proven to be short term given they sack the manager within a season or so and any players bought are not done so with a plan leading to expensive problems on the pitch. There has to be a point where that anger does not go away because if it does then this time next year we will be back here again whether it be this league or below because it was clear this week from the words of the owner that the board alone are not fit to be running a football club.
It's an explosion of anger we cant afford.

I'll tell you where we are right now in their wake: weaker. Weaker to survive in this league. We have an owner and board unable to act when we needed them to get us a new manager and new players.

No one needs to tell me about getting shut of the owner and board. But not focussing pressure on them to get a new manager and players in and simply telling them to go has probably cooked our goose this season.

Absolutely killed the club today with that statement and false accusations.

Undermined the fanbase.
The very fanbase which played a driving force in staying up last year and has been lauded by the club in promotional videos.

What a kicker.

The club will carry on after Moshiri sells and leaves, even if we are in the championship. But that's what this club needs if we are to ever be proud of our club again. If relegation is needed to regain our identity as a club then that's how it has to be. I will be devastated, but the club will go on and I will hopefully again some day in the future have an Everton I can identify with and be proud of.
100% for me Tim. Well said.

Change is needed top to bottom. Will hurt, but it is a necessary pain.

There is nothing at this football club right now worthy of representing the Everton Football Club. It will just be the same over and over for another decade.

Someone will buy a club of this size at a good price and start afresh with a relegation if it eventuates.

Life will go on everyone. Heads high.

A competent one will do for a start.
This is absolutely of course what we want.

The most depressing and alarming thing for me, though, is that I have no idea how one gets appointed.

Who involved with Everton is capable of appointing one, or even capable of appointing someone to do the appointing of the board?
